DWP Online Summer Percussion Academy

Mr. Wallace’s 2020 Online Percussion Academy promises to greatly improve knowledge of percussion in the areas of snare drum, mallet instruments, timpani, accessories, and drum set. These week long sessions will include a daily online group class, two 30 minute private lessons for each student, a group audio/video percussion ensemble project to be presented in a live stream at the end of the week, and an optional opportunity to play for other students live in a Zoom recital. All group classes and lessons will be taught by Mr. Wallace, and the audio video presentation will be available for students and parents to download after the live stream. Session 2 - 7/6-7/10 (Grades 9-12)

8:00-8:15 Daily Check In
8:15-9:15 Group Class

9:30-12:30 Private Lessons by Appointment / Individual
